Wii Wii Wii all the way home
We went to see Auntie Helen's new house in Bettystown.
The family piled into the house, which seemed quite big until we all arrived. We ate and we drank, and we played with Robert's new toy.
We barbequed optimistically, but the sun never came out. Still, the nice newly curved decking made alternately an excellent smoking room, and a place to soak the children.
Jonathan took a real shine to bowling and to tank command on the Nintendo Wii. It's an amazing thing! I've never seen so many grown ups in the one room ready to give it a go. Usually the games console gets buried in the bedroom, but this time we were laughing our way through until half one occupying the whole living room and taking turns as a family together.
Now the only problem is that Jonathan's still talking about it and how he's saving his pennies to get one. I wonder if a fortnight in Portugal will be enough to distract him?
