Constant Fidgeting

I'm a fidget. I can't help it. I fiddle and tinker and move stuff around. It's in my nature.

Holiday Saving

Claire has decided that we need to save money and reduce the strain on our internal organs. Consequently she has devised a savings plan based on putting money in a tin every time we want to open a bottle of wine, but refrain.

Oh yes it is!

Life is too short for Pantomime. I appreciate the effort that goes into it, and the enjoyment it gives to the cast and crew, but for me it's just a bad joke retold.

Using ExtJS

I've been asked to provide some 'styling' work for my employer using ExtJS. Surprisingly, despite my great reservations, I'm finding it a lot less irksome than I imagined.

Merging

We have a man who doesn't trust subversion. He fights it at every corner and attempts to subvert (sic) its use. It's rather annoying, since its primary purpose is to make everyone's life easier.

Not my most diligent work ever, but I've just set up the website for Whitehead Scout Group.

St Patrick's Day, Belfast style

St Patrick's Day has for a century been a great sporting day in the Schools' calendar, a big carnival day in the New York calendar, and a big drinking day in the Works' calendar.

Jeremy & Debbie

The day came and went in a blaze of Troon sunshine. We thoroughly enjoyed the festivities and the simplicity of the ceremony. A beautiful wedding marvellously executed.
